Fullmoon Digital is excited to announce their third nonprofit organization. Ticket To Dream helps foster kids grow up with a sense of community and support. Their mission is to give those children as normal of a childhood as possible in their circumstances.
A child will enter the foster care system every 2 minutes and many kids will go without necessities if their foster families hit hard times during the pandemic.
What makes Ticket To Dream Important?
Every year, 250,000 children will enter foster care across the country. On any given day according to Ticket To Dream 400,000 kids are in foster care. Only 50% of those will actually graduate high school. One in five of them will become homeless within two years of aging out of the system.
Since being founded in 2008, they have assisted 1.8 million children in the foster care system. They have given $43 million worth of essential items for school to the kids, 44 thousand tickets to events (sports events, trips to zoos, etc.), and $2.8 million to fund extracurricular activities for them as well. Also, Ticket To Dream has assisted 22,000 kids aging out of the system with life and employment skills.
Ticket To Dream has partnered with more than 200 nonprofit foster care agencies across 43 states. With this level of reach across the United States, they are able to reach 175,000 children every year. They also provide older foster kids needed access to technology like laptops.

By helping changing the future of our children, we can change the entire planet. Our world can come out of 2020 better than we came into it and we want to be part of making that happen.
