Sea-Trees.org and Fullmoon Digital
Sea-Trees.org and Fullmoon Digital are proud to announce the beginning of a long and happy partnership. Fullmoon Digital will manage their digital marketing campaigns through Google for Nonprofits (which you can learn more about here).
Sea-Trees.org is a donor-funded, traditional nonprofit program run by Sustainable Surf. Their mission statement is “to provide financial support to “regenerative” projects that protect and restore critical ocean ecosystems like mangrove and kelp forests, coral reefs, sea grass and more”.
The biggest goal of Sea-Trees.org is to plant one million sea trees. Fullmoon Digital Media is proud to partner with such an eco-friendly group, especially since we choose to help our world by helping nonprofits that we love.
Sea-Trees.org: saving the earth one mangrove tree at a time
Sea-Trees.org supports the seventeen United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (which you can read more about here). Everything that Sea-Trees.org focuses on will, in the long run, help stop climate change and help create a more sustainable future. Sea-Trees.org and Fullmoon Digital look forward to changing the world for the better, together.
Mangrove trees are five times more effective than rainforests at removing carbon from the atmosphere. Sea-Trees.org is on a mission to plant one million sea trees across the planet. Currently they are involved in 34 communities worldwide. They are planting sea trees on Biak Island, Indonesia, and kelp forests off the coast of Palos Verdes, California.
Sea-Trees.org is also funded by item sales (available at the link above), and token sales. Tokens are a thing you can buy from Sea-Trees.org, that help the environment. Buying one single token helps “wipe out” one metric ton of carbon, plant four mangrove trees at Biak Island, and reforests one square foot of kelp forests in Palos Verdes. Sea-Trees.org and Fullmoon Digital are so excited about the years to come of working together.
Sustainable Surf, the parent nonprofit organization
Sustainable Surf’s mission statement is to protect and restore ocean health by shifting people to a highly desirable, low-carbon, ‘Deep Blue’ lifestyle. By using a systems change approach to protect ocean health-by catalyzing the radical transformation needed to switch industries to using ocean-friendly materials, ending plastic pollution, and restoring coastal ecosystems to reverse climate change.
They have five ongoing projects to help end climate change, including Sea-Trees.org: The ECOBOARD project, Waste to Waves, Deep Blue Life, and Deep Blue Events.
