When planning out a social media itinerary it is hard to visualize how everything will look throughout various social channels. But knowing how and what you want to deliver through social channels will help you create an image that will grab the attention of your potential clients. There are three major things to keep in mind when building a strong and powerful brand in the saturated market of social networking.

Know your Mission.

The message or mission of your brand is what you stand behind, what drives and is the passion behind your brand or business. Many things go into this mission including your voice and tone that further conveys and rounds out the message. Everything that you post should convey in some way what you stand for in your business.

Know your market.

Understanding your market allows for you to consistently deliver a message. Knowing what they like whether it be photos, videos or blogs is an important factor in creating a a stream of communication with them that is most effective.

Know your Branding. 

Keeping to a consistent color theme or image is very important for the visual aspect of keeping your brand in unison throughout all platforms. Whether you have a certain graphic you consistently use or a specific theme throughout all of your photos (angle, lighting, edit) it is important that you stick to it. It might be hard to stick to very strict themes but it will make your branding look cohesive and like it is well put together and reputable. Giving team members full access to all logos, color schemes and graphics will put everyone on the same path!

By really understanding and beginning to narrow the focus of your brand’s image on social it will in turn make your profiles look consistent, professional and trustworthy. Social media is all about building relationships and fostering a community in which people go to get information, be social, and to get inspired. Sticking to your morals and brand image with every post is key to making your brand one that is believable.
