Make sure your website is ready for an influx of people!

There are a few easy things you can do to get your brand holiday season-ready for this year. First you need to check your holiday hours and contact information is accurate and up to date online.

An easy interface makes it easy enough for people to search your site for what they need. Making sure customers can easily browse your website for the items and services they need is just as important as having an easy checkout page.

Have you ever visited a website ad had such an awful checkout experience that you just all together left the page without making your purchase? The holiday season is no time to mess around with check out pages that are overly complicated. It is also a huge reason so many people turn to Amazon and Etsy for gifts, because the interface is easy along with the checkout pages.

Good content is another source of getting people to enjoy your page. By being someone who people can relate to, you become someone that people want to support. Making sure your content is creative and enjoyable to clients and customers. Remember you aren’t creating content for yourself, so create content that you think your audience would like to see.

Take the time to assess your website for ease of use, ease of checkout, accuracy of information. Put yourself into your customer’s shoes and see how you’d like your website.

Use social media to get in the holiday season spirit!

Get excited about the holidays! The more excited you are about your holiday season deals and discounts, the more excited your customers and clients will be. By doing this you also create a vibe of urgency. By creating a sense of urgency, you tell people “these deals will not last long, get onboard with us”, which is the best way to get new customers around the holiday season.

Creating an email drip campaign after the holidays is a wonderful way to show your customers that you did gain that they are appreciated. Obviously by showing them that they are appreciated, they are likely to come back. Throw your customers a bone, send them a 10% off coupon in their email. Send them a limited time offer to show them that you want to keep them around for a long time.
