The digital marketing world is one of the fastest evolving arenas which can make staying up-to-date a thing of the past. Okay, that’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but with the speed of technological advances we see today, the challenge of the constant race to keep up is one we take head-on. Employee investment is vital for a thriving business to keep relevant, and knowing that your marketing agency is in touch with the latest stats and trends means you can worry about one less thing.
That’s why our CEO Derek Chew meets up with the team to consistently collaborate to set goals to keep up continued learning and skill set expansion at the front of their strategic planning and follow through. Continuing education and brushing up on foundational knowledge is what brought Paid Media Specialist Lauren Fredericks and Customer Success Manager Leah Brown to challenge themselves to up their game.
They set out to do the things, and they did the things! ? So now, we are celebrating:
Brown’s completion of officializing her command of her field with a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera.
- Awarded to project managers who have proven they know how to manage, organize, and run projects efficiently and effectively, using traditional and agile methods in a timely and budgetary manner.

Recognition
This January, FMDM launched the Employee Spotlight Series to recognize and celebrate our amazing staff. A result of a great brainstorming session between the team, this employee recognition program is individually motivational and–as an added bonus for you, dear reader–a chance to get an inside glimpse of the experienced marketers and awesome folks behind the tippity-tap of our keyboards.
The first spotlight deservedly was kicked off by bragging on our Paid Media Powerhouse extraordinaire, Sarthak Babbar. For Sarthak, receiving this recognition was meaningful not only as a career mood booster, but personally as well.
I am thrilled that the company recognized my contribution, it made me feel really really special. I shared it with all of my friends, family, and also with my teachers.
Keeping true to the Sarthak we know and love, he cites how the support he gets from the team is inspirational and encourages him to give back. Babbar also mentioned how he foresees this type of recognition shaping the tone and attitude of fellow employees from boosting confidence to creating motivation to go beyond the everyday effort.
It’s not always the appraisal, increments, and gifts that motivate the employees. It’s the love, care, respect, and recognition on the platform that gives the motivation to do more and go the extra mile to do things for the company!

Advancement
It’s awesome to see promotion going to those who have earned it, and that is just what happened for CSM Charles McDonald. His hard work has been paying off, both for him and for Fullmoon. So let me introduce our new Senior Customer Success Manager!
For McDonald, success has come from a multitude of factors.
I’ve had a tremendous amount of fun at FMDM so far. The leadership here has allowed me to really “dig in” and engage in a way that brings me a lot of fulfillment. The Fullmoon team is full of kind “go-getters” that have been a blast to work with as well. I feel like I’ve made some lifelong friends here. I want to honor them by continuing to put my best foot forward. I want us to keep building something amazing together.
The positive environment has given me a sense of confidence and reassurance. There’s freedom and opportunity to use the various skills I’ve learned over the years. More importantly, I have ample opportunity to learn and try new things every day. That’s what really makes me “tic”, it’s about the journey.
