Digital Marketing Data Analyst

FMDM is hiring a Tag Engineer, AKA, Digital Analyst/Engineer. 

You will be responsible for creating, configuring and maintaining the tags for the organization. This company uses Google Tag Manager but are open to candidates who have experience with Adobe DTM or Tealium and are open to learning Google Tag Manager. To be successful in this position you need to be comfortable working in an Agile environment, handle adhoc requests, and communicating across multiple agile pods/teams. Frontend development skills with JavaScript, HTML and CSS is also important to the success of this position. This position is 100% remote!

Additionally, you will be the point of contact for reporting, insights, and other deliverables to ensure we are providing the best possible service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and analysis of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google Optimize across our marketing website, landing pages, paid social, programmatic, SEM, and SEO.

  • Own all monthly reporting; create and maintain dashboards in Google Data Studio, or similar, and their automated integrations into ad platforms, CRM, and other data sources. As needed, provide support for ad-hoc data & research requests.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define and implement tracking, tagging, and reporting requirements for the company’s web site and digital marketing channels and campaigns.

  • Troubleshoot any platform, pixel, or reporting errors.

  • Provide insights, recommendations and subject matter expertise to clients and present on account performance. Delivering analyses (i.e. insights and actions) via the appropriate means (e.g. dashboards, deep dive analyses, infographics, etc.)

  • Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities, and effectively communicate to key stakeholders. Connect insights from multiple digital channels and data sources to provide teams with the information and recommendations they need to continuously improve performance.

  • Create and maintain regular reporting around key projects such as acquisition, engagement and conversion.

 

Job Requirements / Skills:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience, in-house or agency environment; experience in enterprise level environment preferred.

  • Experience with digital advertising platforms: Facebook, Google, Bing, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, Reddit, TikTok.

  • Experience with data analysis platforms and tools: Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Google Analytics certification.
  • 2+ years experience with Google Tag Manager
  • 2+ years of experience with data/app integrations using systems such as Funnel.io, Integromat, Improvado, Supermetrics, Datorama
  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
  • Experience working with SEO platforms like Brightedge, Conductor, Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMRush.

  • Google suite: Docs, Slides, and Sheets, Microsoft office: PowerPoint and Excel
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
  • Self-motivated and technically-savvy with a keen ability to prioritize multiple projects, some strategic, some tactical.
  • Data-driven problem solver who is relentless in finding answers in complex situations.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with obsessive attention to detail.
